Shipping Restrictions

Any orders placed for magazines that are not legal in your state will immediately be refunded and restocked and will be subject to a 15% fee.

California: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CA except to law enforcement or customers with high-capacity magazine permits. Due to the passage of Law CA AB48, we are no longer selling any magazine repair kits as of 12/07/2013.

Illinois: No rifle magazines over 10 rounds capacity will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in Illinois. No pistol magazines over 15 rounds capacity will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in Illinois.

Colorado: No magazines over 15 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CO.

Connecticut: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in CT. As of 10/1/13 in order to comply with CT Senate Bill No. 1160 magazines holding 10 rounds or less can only be purchased if the buyer provides a copy of a driver’s license and ONE of the following: state handgun carry permit, long gun certificate, or ammunition certificate.

Delaware:  No magazines over 17 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in DE

District of Columbia: No magazines over 10 rounds capacity will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in DC.

Hawaii: No handgun magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in HI. Rifle magazines are ok.

Maryland: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in MD.

Massachusetts: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in MA.

New Jersey: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in NJ.

New York: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in NY.

Oregon: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in OR.

Rhode Island: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in RI.

Vermont: No magazines over 10 rounds for Rifles and over 15 rounds for Pistols will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in VT.

Washington: No magazines over 10 rounds will be shipped to customers with shipping addresses in WA.

Military APO/FPO:  Due to shipping restrictions,  we are not able to ship to APO/FPO addresses. If you would like to receive our products we can ship to a stateside military base (or other address) that is not an APO/FPO address.

For the vast majority of returns, it takes about 5-10 Business Days for us to get your package at the fulfillment center, inspect your return, process it into inventory, and complete your refund. All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipping as soon as they are placed. During this process, we incur irreversible costs like packing materials, payment processing fees, and labor. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it free of charge. For orders canceled outside of our standard lead time (late orders), we may waive the cancellation fee on a case by case basis. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy: 

- If the buyer cancels the order before it has been shipped, they will be assessed a 15% cancellation fee before credit is issued. Please note we may not be able to cancel an order before it ships if it's already been processed for packing.

Prior to shipment of any returned product, all return request must receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from Check-Mate

- In order to obtain an RMA, customers must use the Returns Portal below

- All return requests must be made to Check-Mate within 90 days from the date of purchase.

- Any return for a refund must be in new and sellable condition in original packaging.

- If a refund is required, we will only refund the value of the goods, and not the cost for shipping. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

- Refunds will be processed via the same payment method as the original purchase.

As a Check-Mate Magazines customer, you have the option of exchanging an eligible order instead of returning it for a refund. Please give us a call, chat, or email, and we will gladly share more details on how to process an exchange. Our Customer Support Team is more than happy to help!

Our chief objective is to ensure you are fully satisfied with your purchase. If the item purchased is malfunctioning or defective in any way upon arrival we’re happy to assist in troubleshooting and providing the necessary replacement parts to get your product functioning as intended. If the item has been opened and/or used, refunds/exchanges may be issued on a case by case basis.  

In order to qualify for return/exchange/store credit, the goods or packaging may not be damaged, and the goods must be returned in their original packaging, and accompanied by all items comprising the product. The notice of exchange or return has to be made in writing; an email will suffice:  support@checkmateindustries.com.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to order returns.  In the event of a return or exchange, we require that you return the goods to us at your own cost or use the provided return label. If the provided return label is used, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. Otherwise, no store credit/exchanges/returns will be accepted under any circumstances. Returns will not be refunded for the original shipping charges. If free shipping was applied, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Malfunctioning or defective product returns may have the original shipping cost refunded on a case by case basis.

In order to help with the return of your order, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by using the online Return Portal or by emailing support@checkmateindustries.com within the cancellation period. 

Our return address is detailed on your original invoice.  Failure to obtain an RMA does not affect your legal, consumer rights.

The buyer must take reasonable care of all goods in their possession and return them to us, with their original packaging, within 10 days from the date the RMA number was issued.

We do not offer free samples of our products. If you are interested in any of our products, please place an order through our website and you will have the ability to return it within 90 days. Should you decide to keep the sample and place a Dealer or OEM order, the price difference (retail less dealer price) will be applied as a credit to your next purchase order.
